I am finishing up my 4th year of teaching in Grand Haven Area Public Schools. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2009 with a degree in Kinesiology. I have taught Young Five's-High School Physical Education since I started teaching. I will finish up my Master's of Arts in Education with a dual concentration in Education Leadership and Coaching Leadership in August 2013. I also coach Girls Cross Country and Track as well as junior varsity girls basketball. I am an avid endurance athlete and have run many road/trail races. Last year I attempted a 4 day adventure race in Northern Maine. My team got lost and had to withdraw after 60+ hours of racing. We will make it back and complete all of it.
